These are all programs for use in createing objects and sims of your own for game play.
Why download objects and skins from other sites when you can create your own. It's worth all the trouble of
learning these program's, which also have tutorial's and links to technical support. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are zip files and you will need WinZip or it's equivalent to open them. After downloading these
files send them to C:Programs/Maxis folder. To protect your game from crashing download the
from the Sims website, and after adding any files to your game run the File Cop program. It will check for
bad files that can interupt game play (very important because I cannot gaurantee any downloads).
File destinations for your new creations:
Program's-- place in C:Programs/Maxis
Skins-- (.bmp files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/GameData/Skins
Floors-- (.flr files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/GameData/floors
Walls--(.wll files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/GameData/walls
Houses-- (.iff files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/UserData/Houses
Roofs--(.bmp files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/GameData/roofs
Furniture, mis.objects, etc.--(.iff files) C:Programs/Maxis/TheSims/downloads
Note: don't confuse the file extensions, a little knowledge of the files content is needed, example furniture and houses have the same file extensions but are placed in different folders.
